Ox ---> Tiger Campaign Session #10

 

Session 10-  Healing, Carousing in Kugelberg, and Finding the Golden Barge

• Party wake up at Oldrich’s, Tim and Baldwin receive healing from them

• Party decides to return to Kugelberg for re-supply and retaining the services 

  of more hirelings 

• Party encounters a different centaur at the toll at location #5, he offers to wave 

  the toll if the party returns within 24 hours with more wine

• First stop in Kugelberg is Kugelberg Tavern, Tim and Fecus buy drinks for the 

  entire party and the tavern’s handful of old-timer customers.  They then treat 

  the party to soup and sandwiches before debauching themselves carousing

• Fecus’ results of carousing, 200xp and a phoenix tattoo on his chest

• Tim’s results of carousing, 100xp and a quest from his god (TBD at a later 

  date by DM)

• Next day Tim and Fecus go to the Kugelberg Hireling Hall and contract the 

  services of Hedviga the Harridan (Tim), Lardikus (Tim), and Voga the Vain 

  (Fecus)

• At the stables the party re-supplies with ropes, warm clothes, torches/lamps, 

  and 2 more puppies Tim names Lewie 2 and Screwie

• Last stop in Kugelberg is Joromir’s son Pavol for beer, wine (chokecherry), 

  and pastries.  Pavol extends an invite to Tim and Fecus to have dinner with 

  Jaromir next time they come to Kugelberg

• Back in the Dunes the party meet the friendly (with Geoff especially) centaur 

  (redhead/pinto) at location #5 and exchange 2 skins of wine for Dune entry 

  tokens.  He invites the party to the centaur camp.

• In location #13 a shimmering door (Tesseract Opens) Tim tests the portal by 

  throwing Screwie through and pulling him out unharmed.  Geoff takes this as 

  an indication that the portal is safe and runs through with the rest of the party 

  following him.

• The portal is a temporary short-cut to location #14.  The party decide to take 

  the western path to location #10

• Location #10 is the former campsite of Ondrj’s reavers (I transposed this with 

  location #15 accidentally.  #10 should have been an Eld ambush.)  The party 

  find a cold fire pit and a garish pink and white striped silk pavilion.  Fecus sends 

  Launchpad the dog into the tent to investigate and Launchpad indicates the 

  tent has something of interest.  Within the pavilion Launchpad shows the party 

  a spot in the ground to dig and the party do so.  A small chest with 63sp and a 

  gold ring.  The party takes the southern path to the coast location #16.

• Location #16 the Golden Barge.  The party stops here just at the edge of the 

  Dunes, sending Fecus to re-con…
