Session 31- New Hirelings and Bandit Hunting

6/19/2022

• Before leaving Marlinko, Tim and Fecus return to the 

  Guild of Condottieri, smooth over the fact that Branko 

  might be M.I.A. (he is actually dead, see Session #30) 

  and hire Danika and “Boy”

• On their way out of town, 3 beggars approach RAMs 

  and Tim gives them each 1gp while Fecus curbs his 

  impulse to trample the indigents.  The beggars deliver 

  the following rumors to the party:

• The Stiffbind Circus will be running shows this 

  week in the Tomb-Plaza of the Town Gods.

• Renowned highwayman, Libor the Lugubrious, 

  is working the main road south of Marlinko again.

• Bohumir, a salt merchant from Ostrovo, has been 

  spreading a wild tale about a wrong turn he took 

  on a cantonal trade road ten miles southeast of 

  Marlinko.

• Jumping at the chance to make “easy” gold, RAMs split 

  the party with Sillai, Baldwin, Pavol, Alezbta, Gigurg, Boy, 

  Andrew and the 2 Ghuls remaining on the Golden Barge 

  and “sailing” down to Ctyri Ctvrt to meet the rest of the party.

• Tim+puppies, Fecus+Launchpad+Tentacle, Yuri, Ferika, 

  Geoff, Shelby, Kruluzax, Yaroj, Sasha, Danika, Ornie, and 

  Gerben take the Warvette and the wagon to hunt bandits 

  on the road south of Marlinko

• At first, the only encounters for the RAMs traveling the road 

  are a light rain and an old Pahr Shrine

• RAMs find a campsite and set watches

• Libor the Lugubrious and his 20 bandits attack during first watch, 

  but RAMs are alert and get the first devastating artillery shots fired

• A protracted fight ensues with 6 bandits trying to retreat after 

  witnessing the prowess of RAMs (Magic! Artillery! Melee!), 

  but RAMs chase them down and kill them all, taking their 

  heads as proof of job completion

• RAMs travel back to Marlinko and turn the heads into the 

  city watch and receive their reward, 1000gp for Libor and 

  1000gp for his 20 bandits

• Rams do a little healing and head back down the road to 

  Ctyri Ctvrt 

• Libor the Lugubrious killed = 65xp

• 20 bandits killed = 200xp

• 6000 EP = 3000XP

• 400 PP = 40XP

• 22 Gems = 5255 GP = 5255XP

• 20 Jewelry Pieces = 7300 GP = 7300XP

• 15860XP Total

• Tim and Fecus receive 5286XP each

Session 30- Betting on the Black Race

6/12/2022

• Rams arrive in Marlinko and deliver the racehorse Justify

• The man who takes possession of Justify invites Rams to 

  watch the Black Race the happening the following day

• Tim, Fecus, Geoff, and Yuri go carousing the night before 

  the race

• Tim’s carousing 600gp = 600xp

• Tim mispronounced the name of the plum brandy, 

  and by custom his bartender declared Tim his indentured 

  servant.  Tim’s reaction is to kill the bartender with 

  Magic Missile.  Two witnesses alert 6 of the City Guards 

  to the crime.  Upon their arrival, Tim puts on the Eld mindbox 

  and charms the guard in charge to see things his way.  Tim 

  says the bartender attacked him and that the witnesses are lying.  

  The head guard (fails saving throw) believes Tim’s story and the 

  City Guards take the two witnesses away for fraud charges.

• Fecus’ carousing 200gp = 200xp

• Fecus’ carousing takes him into the Golden Swine Quarter 

  and he finds himself having eaten his hireling Branko during 

  the sacrament of the Church of the Blood Jesus.

• Geoff’s carousing 200gp = 200xp

• Geoff is kidnapped by cultists of the Fifth God.  He wakes up, 

  hands bound, lying on a cold floor in a dark room.  Upon noticing 

  Geoff’s disappearance, Tim organizes Rams to search for Geoff 

  and they find him alive, but shaken, within the Tomb of the 

  Town Gods.  Geoff gratefully hugs his rescuer and mentor Tim.

• Yuri’s carousing 500gp = 500xp

• Yuri wakes up in a debauched state, next to a mummy in the 

  bed of his mid-priced hotel.  He dismembers the mummy and 

  hides it in the mattress and skulks away from the hotel successfully 

  avoiding incident.  The mummy was Ludek the Revered, 

  Most Favored of Skamoplx.

• Fecus bets 300gp on Justify and 300gp on Holy Bull

• Tim bets 500gp on Holy Bull

• Justify loses

• Tim casts Gust of Wind on Holy Bull

• Holy Bull wins

• Tim runs into Frantisek after the race and is offered a job to acquire the 

  large beet down in Ctyri Ctvrt.  Rams accept.

• Fecus goes shopping to replace equipment

• Fecus and Tim buy health potions at Irenka’s

• Rams are invited to Lord Pahr’s next party

• Fecus tells everyone except Tim that Branko quit Rams.  He reveals the 

  terrible truth to Tim.

Session 29- Up to Chizhova and Back Down to Marlinko

6/5/2022

• Rams take the Golden Barge up the river to Chizhova

• Golden Barge docks or anchors at the furthest distance 

  from town and a group consisting of Tim + puppies, 

  Fecus + Launchpad + Tentacle, Geoff, Ferika, Yuri, and 

  Shelby take a water taxi into the dock area immediately 

  outside the city gate

• They purchase 2 lifeboats (100sp and 4SHP each) that can 

  carry 5-6 people each

• 4 small cannons, 1 mortar and 5 powder barrels are purchased

• Some treasure is sold

• Carousing at The Rotten Stump! Chizhova’s premier dockside 

  bar

• Fecus, 1000sp=1000xp, Rolled and Robbed

• Yuri, 2000sp=2000xp, Life of the Party

• Tim, 400sp=400xp, One Night Stand with the 

  Married Woman Finna

• Reading the jobs board, they pick up a side job to transport a 

  racehorse to Marlinko for 500sp

• Rams encounter a Black Pudding and a Gelatinous Cube on 

  their river trip down to Marlinko and kill both

• Horse is delivered in Marlinko

• Black Pudding killed = 1100xp

• Gelatinous Cube killed = 450xp

• XP Total = 1550xp

• Tim and Fecus receive 516xp each

• Ferika and Yuri receive 258xp each

Session 27- Shopping in Marlinko, MCC Jungle/ , River Trippin’ 

or “Now That We Own A Golden Barge”

5/27/2022

• Fecus buys a War Ocelot, Tim buys Geoff a Giant Robin

• Irenka’s for Health Potions and Pipeweed

• Jarek’s for War Ocelot armor

• Tim hires Simple Sasha

• Fecus hires Yarof, Branko, and Bohuil

• Gigurg, Kraccus, Yarof, Bohuil, and Launchpad go through the 

  Jungle portal to the MCC Ruins of Future Past module. Krannoc 

  and Bohuil were killed by the Feline Humanoids.  Gigurg, Yarof, 

  and Launchpad barely escape with their lives. Gigurg and Yarof 

  level to 2. 

• 5 minutes went past on Golden Barge.

• What follows is a 5 day river trip.

• First two days are no encounters.

• Third day Rams see a party of Myconids.  No aggression on either 

  side.

• Day 4 morning: 3 trolls try to halt the Golden Barge with chains.  

  Doesn’t work.  Rams kill trolls.

• Day 4 evening.  2 shambling mounds attack.  Rams kill one.

• 3 trolls killed = 5400xp

• 1 shambling mound killed = 1800xp

• Total 7200xp

• Tim and Fecus = 2400xp each

• Ferika and Kruluzax = 1200xp each

Session 26- Clearing the Locked Room (Room #7 of the Golden Barge)

5/22/2022

• Tim uses his newly learned spell Knock to unlock Room #7 

  of the Golden Barge

• 6 Ghuls remain… The original 12 feasted on the flesh of the 

  dead Rams then turned on each other leaving just 6 left alive.

• The party formed up and battled the Ghuls.  Gerben, as one 

  of the heads of the formation, takes so much damage that he 

  is pulled to the back.

• Ferika and Yuri provide most of the effective melee and Tim and 

  Geoff support with their Magic Missile spells

• Tim and Fecus recover equipment from their fallen dead.  Fecus 

  takes the crystal remains (head, hands, and feet) of Shoeless Vo.

• The Rams take the remains of the fallen dead to be blessed and 

  interred by the Anchorites just outside of Marlinko.

• Shelby gives Gerben some much needed healing.

• 6 Ghuls killed = 390xp

• 2000EP = 10,000xp

• 1 Sword +1 (+2 vs Spell Casters)

• 10,390xp total

• Tim and Fecus = 3463xp each

• Geoff and ? =1731xp each
