Session 39- Inside the Spire of Iron and Crystal Part 5

7/15/2026

• The combined teams of Danika and Radomir continue to explore 

  the 2nd Egg.  They enter Room #36 from Room #37, and find it 

  expands into Room #35 and Room #38.  The lightning overhead 

  starts up again as they explore these areas.

• In Room #33 they are able to study the bucket ladder and its 

  apparatus.  

• They backtrack to head towards Room #39, but are attacked at the 

  intersection north of Room #35 by 2 Lightning Beetles.  They quickly 

  kill the giant insects and proceed to Room #39.

• In Room #39 they encounter, fight and kill 5 Oozanderthals.

• They explore Rooms #45, #23, and return to Room #33 via the 

  southern corridors.

• They take already explored corridors to Room #34 and encounter 

  13 Oozanderthals.  10 of the monsters climb over the walls to circle 

  around and attack from behind.  While the “from behind 

  Oozanderthals” make their moves, the 3 in front of Danika and 

  Radomir’s teams get into a fight with the PCs.  The PCs kill 2 of 

  the monsters before the reinforcements arrive from behind.  The 

  remaining monsters are killed and the combined teams decide to 

  take a breather in this room before exploring further.

• 18 Oozanderthals killed = 2160 XP

• 2 Giant Lightning Beetles killed = 30 XP

• Total XP = 2190 XP

• Danika receives 1096 XP

• Hallabera and Hinek each receive 547 XP

Session 38- Inside the Spire of Iron and Crystal Part 4

7/3/2026

• Danika and Radomir’s respective parties of adventurers decide it is 

  time to try the Teleportation Units.

• Radomir’s crew uses the unit in Room #2 while Danika’s party 

  observes.

• Danika and her party encounter 7 Giant Worker Ants in Room #1, 

  but Zora and Tomasz located above on the ledge call out a warning.

• Danika and her team fight and kill the giant insects with the help of 

  Tomasz.  After the fight, Zora leaves the ledge to re-join her team 

  and Tomasz re-positions himself on the ledge to wait for his leader’s 

  further instructions.

• Danika pulls Zora aside to get a feel for Zora’s impression of Tomasz.  

  He seems like a good guy from Zora’s POV.

• Danika and her party Teleport from Lvl 1 Room #18 to Lvl 2 

  Room #32.  Radomir and his team have been waiting for them.  

  Radomir is concerned to see Zora, but Danika and her party inform 

  him Tomasz was okay when they saw him last and he is still in 

  position where Radomir stationed him.

• The 2 teams observe the room they are in has no doors, only 3 

  strangely quiet machines.  Each machine has a button that is sculpted 

  to look like a gargoyle’s face.  They are able to see a piece of 

  machinery that is located in a nearby room that juts above the quartz 

  walls.

• They push all 3 Gargoyle buttons, which turns off the lighting storm. 

  (5 turns.)

• They scale the wall and peer down into several different rooms.  

  1 contains a Cockatrice that they kill with ranged attacks.  Another 

  contains the large mechanical apparatus they observed from the 

  Teleport room.  Another has strange humanoid beings (Luhuloi) 

  moving about and through the exterior of the egg like it isn’t solid.  

  Those beings wave and seem friendly, but they don’t speak when 

  spoken to by Danika and Radomir’s team members.

• The 2 teams get off the wall and move into the 

• 7 Giant Worker Ants killed = 210 XP

• Cockatrice killed = 600 XP

• 47 CP

• 3000 SP = 300 XP

• 8000 GP = 8000 XP

• Large Bloodstone 75 GP = 75 XP

Session 37- Inside the Spire of Iron and Crystal Part 3

6/29/2026

• Danika and her adventuring party along with Radomir and his 

  adventuring party circle around the first level clockwise to 

  Room #5 and they enter Room #4 without the door trap taking 

  effect, yet.

• They then go through several already explored Rooms #2, #1, 

  and #12.

• Entering Room #15, they encounter 3 Slitherrats… 1 escapes 

  using its Special Ability: Slide Through Crystal.  The combined 

  adventuring parties fight and kill the remaining 2 Slitherrats.

• Moving into Room #16, they find the escaped Slitherrat.  It is 

  quickly dispatched (Danika crits!)

• In Room #17, they encounter the Korog Technician and 

  2 Oozeanderthals.  In the fight, the Korog Tech uses his Wand of 

  Paralyzation against Pavel successfully, but is ultimately killed.  

  The 2 Oozeanderthals escape after taking damage in the fight.

• The adventurers chase the 2 Oozeanderthals into Room #18.  

  The monsters escape using the Teleport pad.  The adventurers do 

  not follow.

• 3 Slitherrats killed = 360 XP

• Korog Technician killed = 240 XP

• Wand of Paralyzation (4 Charges)

• Total XP = 600 XP

• Danika receives 300 XP

• Hynek and Pholos each receive 150 XP

The Spire of Iron and Crystal's Glitter Skeletons

 

Session 35- Inside the Spire of Iron and Crystal Part 1

3/10/2026

• Pavel from the Duskward Concord finds the secret door in Room #1 

  to Room #2.

• The party enters Room #2 and encounter 6 Fossil Skeletons they 

  fight and kill.  This room includes a teleportal that they note, but 

  don’t explore, yet.

• Entering Room #6 reveals a long gallery on the exterior of the egg.  

  Several tanks with dead specimens are in this room.

• Past the tanks and into a hallway, the party enter Room #7 and find 

  a desk with papers in an archaic language.  Magda casts 

  Read Languages on the papers that reveal an apprentice’s horror at 

  their master’s slip into dangerous experimentation.

• 6 Fossil Skeletons killed = 150 XP

• 2 Potions of Lightning Resistance

• Sword w/ 500 GP Topaz in Pommel

• Scroll of Knock

• Scroll of Detect Magic

• 50 GP

• 1600 SP

Session 34- Dreams Reveal the Duskward Concord, 

An Evening Star Lodge Faction

2/14/2026

• Before Danika and Telefe were awoken to fight the Morlocks, 

  they both experienced dreams of an Evening Star Lodge party 

  led by Radomir Vesely.  Danika dreamt of their visit to the 

  Flaming Goat in Marlinko; Telefe dreamt of their aborted attempt 

  to cross the Invisible Causeway.

• When they arrive at the ridge across from the 

  Spire of Iron and Crystal, they see half erased chalk sigils of 

  Habeka.  Radomir introduces himself and his party to Danika 

  and hers.  Danika and Telefe had previously warned their 

  members to be silent when they meet anyone.

• A temporary alliance is formed when Radomir and Ilva 

  signal their intention to save Nattias, who had been Ilva’s 

  mentor and the mentor of Radomir’s brother.  Nattias had 

  been influential in the Evening Star Lodge before 

  “falling into the Void” joining the Starry Void Lodge.

• Telefe gives a 10 minute warning for the Invisible Causeway’s 

  time of operation.

• Danika leads the party across.  Torquil attempts the tri-split path, 

  but Danika makes him turn back to wait on the ridge in relative 

  safety.

• They eventually enter the Spire at the highest egg chamber and 

  they end the session in room #1.  Zora and Tomasz wait on the 

  intermediary platform with rope to aid in climbing.

Session 33- Last Watch; Morlocks Attack!

2/1/2026

• Watch 1, Pholos arranges his bandolier of vials and makes tea.

• Watch 2, Hynek drinks tea and maintains a low fire.

• Watch 3, Hallabera maintains his great sword and preps poison 

  arrows.  10 Morlocks attack near the end of the last watch.  

  Hallabera sees them just outside the camp and warns a few of 

  the party to wake up before combat.

• 5 Morlocks are killed in round 1 and the survivors retreat.

• 5 Morlocks killed = 25 XP

• Platinum Bracelet set with a large Sapphire 2700 GP

• Large Gold Bracelet 250 GP

• Silver Necklace with a Jasper pendant 250 GP

• 4 Small Gold Bracelets 90 GP

• Total XP = 3315 XP

Giant Turtle

 

Session 32- 10 Bugbears in the Forest

1/31/2026

• Torquil leads Danika and her team through the swamp without 

  incident until it’s time to cross the last stream.  A Giant Turtle is 

  blocking the shallow ford.  They have to backtrack and cross at 

  another point further north to avoid the creature that is just fishing 

  in the stream.

• The rest of the day passes uneventfully

• As the sun is setting and they are climbing through the forest in 

  the twilight, an encounter is rolled!

• Initially they encounter 1 Bugbear, but as soon as they think it will 

  be no big deal, 9 more shift out of the forest shadows.

• Danika and her crew win initiative.  They kill 8 of the Bugbears.

• When the leader and the only other survivor retreat, Danika and 

  her crew follow until they find a shady little box canyon with multiple 

  tunnels into the hillside.  A surefire ambush spot.

• They fall back to the skirmish location and hike a little further up to 

  a ridge where they can see the top of the Spire of Iron and Crystal 

  shimmering in the moonlight.

• Camp and watches are set.

• 8 Bugbears killed = 800 XP

• 4000 CP = 40 XP

• Gold War Mask of Nirgal 800 GP

• Total XP = 1640 XP

• Danika receives 820 XP

• Hynek and Hallabera each receive 410 XP

   

   

  Perchance Prompt 2/2/26 A group of fantasy adventurers is about 

  to leave a swamp when a Giant Turtle blocks the shallow ford of the 

  last stream.
