Session 12- Lady Szara’s Annual Bathe In the Blood of Your Servants 

Charity Ball Is Regretfully Cancelled

7/7/2023

• During Danika’s last trip to buy lab equipment and hire more 

  adventurers, an invitation addressed to the Mighty Tim and 

  Mr. Fecus for Lady Szara’s Annual Bathe In the Blood of Your 

  Servants Charity Ball.

• A day after Danika has come back to Ctyri Ctvrt, a letter arrives 

  that regretfully informs the Mighty Tim and Mr. Fecus that 

  Lady Szara’s Ball has been cancelled.

• Danika sends a note to Lady Szara offering regrets and assistance 

  in regards to the Ball’s cancellation.

• Gary Falcon has created 20 vials of Growth Elixir and 5 Extra 

  Healing Potions.

• Danika sends a few village folk to get an extra heavy x-bow and a 

  brass tube for spy glass creation.

• 5 Poncy Knights who once knew Ritek arrive and Danika smooth talks, 

  wines, and dines the knights to avoid explaining the ugliest details 

  surrounding Ritek’s death and Danika’s takeover.

• Sir Tancred and his Knights leave.  Sir Tancred is delighted to be 

  pen pals with Danika.

• Travel south half a day to the barrow.

• Kill 4 Crimson Ghouls outside barrow.

• Kill Wraith.

• Zora shatters Red Crystal Statue.

• Back home to Ctyri Ctvrt.

• 3000 GP = 3000 XP

• 5 Crimson Ghouls killed = 375 XP

• Animate Crystal Statue killed = 65 XP

• Wraith killed = 300 XP

• Total XP = 3740 XP

• Danika = 1870 XP

• Zora & Hallabera each receive 935 XP

Session 10- The Quest for Trolls’ Blood Part 2

• Meet 10 Candle Merchants along the path to the Troll area.  

  They buy some candles.

• 2 Carnivorous Flies attack and 1 is killed the other flies off.

• A frosty meteorite is stumbled upon and the 2 Trolls live there.

• They fight the Trolls, kill them, and rescue Alva and Sophelia.

• 1 Giant Fly killed = 25 XP

• 2 Trolls killed = 1500 XP

• 1090 GP = 1090 XP

• Potion of Extra Healing

• Potion of Resistance to Poison

• Potion of Clairaudience

Session 151- A Return to Barovia Part 2

11/3/2024

• Rumors Rams learn while buying drinks for folks at the Bluewater Inn:

• Gugula speaks to the son of Lady Fiona Wachter and learns 

  that the noblewoman hates Burgomaster Vallakovich.

• Shelby speaks to Danika and learns less than a week ago that 

  Burgomaster Vallakovich held a festival called the Wolf’s Head 

  Jamboree.

• Tim overhears the Martikov boys, Brom and Bray, talking about 

  the Mad Mage of Mount Baratok.  He offers them some candy 

  to learn more about what they know about the Mad Mage.

• Fecus learns from the wolf hunters that the abandoned town to 

  the south, Berez, is supposedly inhabited by Hags and 

  Barovian Witches.

• After pretending like they went to bed, Rams go in search of the 

  Secret Stairs.

• While they explore the kitchen, Shelby finds the Secret Door to the 

  Secret Stairs.

• They take the stairs to the 2nd floor and Fecus implements his X-ray 

  ring to see which rooms are occupied.

• A guest room (Rictavio) to the south is occupied by a sleeping figure.

• The Martikovs quarters appear to be unoccupied by the family at this 

  time.

• Rams hear the Secret Door at the bottom of the stair; they slip out 

  onto the mezzanine and into the Martikov boys’ bedroom.

• Fecus uses the X-ray ring to watch the figure move out of the secret 

  landing, to the mezzanine, and then into Danika and Urwin Martikov’s 

  bedroom.  In the Martikov’s bedroom, the figure disappears at the 

  west wall of the bedroom.

• Rams examine the toys in Brom and Bray’s toybox.  The gypsy dolls 

  resemble the Ireena doll.

• Rams focus on the guest room.  Shelby uses an ESP scroll to read 

  Rictavio (Van Richten) dreams.  She learns he became a monster 

  hunter when his family was killed by a vampire.  When he came to 

  Vallaki, he visited Blinsky the toymaker and gave his pet monkey 

  Piccolo to the lonely man.

• Shelby casts Command on the sleeping Rictavio, causing him to soil 

  himself in his sleep.

• Rams explore the adult Martikov’s bedroom.  They discover an 

  entrance to a loft containing hundreds of ravens.

• Tims casts Speak with Animals to talk to the nearest raven.  Tim 

  learns the ravens know all animal types usually have a few 

  shapeshifters that go between the humanoid and animal worlds.  He 

  also learns the Wereravens don’t like Strahd and secretly work against 

  him when they need to do so. Tim bribes the raven with rations and 

  5 CP.

• Rams quietly make their way back to their rooms and sleep the rest 

  of the night.

East of Crescent Lake Lies Two Trolls' Lair

 

Session 9- The Quest for Trolls’ Blood Part 1

• Danika visits the sage in Glister, Ranka Lindahl.  Ranka knows of 

  where some trolls are rumored to be east of the Crescent Lake.  

  Two other women, sisters, went to find an artifact in the area and 

  went missing so keep an eye out for them.

• Shopping in Glister, send the wagon of lab equipment to Ctyri Ctvrt 

  while they travel towards the Troll area.

Session 150- A Return to Barovia Part 1

10/27/2024

• The Mighty Tim, Fecus, Shelby, and Gugula go to sleep in 

  Dwimmermount and wake up at a crossroads in a misty 

  dark forest.  A familiar black carriage pulled by two black horses 

  is waiting nearby.  They board the carriage and it delivers them 

  to Castle Ravenloft.

• They are greeted by Ireena Kolyana and she catches the party 

  up on what has been going on in Barovia since Rams killed 

  Strahd a year ago.

• Her first concern is a strange doll resembling her, found by a 

  family friend in the Bluewater Inn located in Vallaki.

• Other priorities she mentions are a hag in a ruined village and 

  Rahadin, Strahd’s butler.  Both were allies of Strahd and she 

  fears they will come against her as revenge for Strahd’s death.  

  Other noble families might also rise against Ireena.  So many 

  enemies!

• Tim, Fecus, and Shelby mention their strange dreams of the doll 

  and a cloaked figure and the dream of Rahadin climbing a frozen 

  mountain road.  Ireena wonders if Rahadin has fled to the 

  Amber Temple on Mount Ghakis.

• Ireena provides the team with horses and they travel to Vallaki.

• Although Vallaki’s guards are suspicious, the party enters the town 

  and receives directions to the Bluewater Inn from them.

• Rams go to some effort to hide their affiliations with Ireena, and 

  decide on a cover story as hunters.

• They arrive at the Bluewater and order a round of cheap wine for the 

  house and the good stuff for themselves along with Vallaki’s noted 

  fish chowder pasties.

• Fecus starts wandering around the Inn’s taproom then excuses 

  himself to poke around outside by the outhouses and exterior stairs.  

  He’s looking for another Ireena doll or a related clue.  With his X-Ray 

  ring he sees a secret staircase in the Bluewater from the 1st floor to 

  the 2nd floor.

• Back inside, Rams join the wolf hunters Szoldar and Yevgeni to ask 

  about local landmarks and hunting.

• Tim and Fecus ask Danika Martikov, the bartender, if she knows a 

  good place to buy toys for the party’s nieces and nephews.  She tells 

  them she buys the toys for her boys at Blinsky’s in town.

• Rams rent 2 rooms for the night and pretend to go up to bed when 

  things wind down in the taproom.

Danika's Alchemy Lab

Session 8- Building An Alchemist’s Lab

6/10/2023

• Danika decides to build a laboratory in the Beet God’s Lair area 

  of the Beet Cellar.

• Danika, Zora, and Hachiro are traveling to Gusakov by wagon to 

  get lab equipment.

• Orange Institute of Arcane Pursuits has 80% of the equipment that 

  Danika wants and can ship the rest to arrive in a month.

• Dina of Orange Institute asks if Danika is interested in hiring a 

  magic-user.  She agrees to hire a bearded halfling named Hurley.

• Danika asks Dina for a letter of introduction to Irenka in Marlinko.  

  Dina provides it.

• Danika hires another fighter in Glister named Hallabera.  He’s 

  cautious and has a scar on his cheek.
