Session 200- A Return to Barovia Part 50
11/8/2025
The morning before the wedding ceremony the PCs take a few
moments to reflect on how they feel going into the wedding.
Fecus is oriented towards getting through the wedding, taking
Strahd out of Barovia, and returning home.
Shelby is concerned for the safety of everybody involved in
today’s event and wants to return home.
Tim is excited to deal with Strahd.
Gugula is ready to fight.
Fecus asks Ezmerelda for a favor after she leads Rams out of
Barovia and the Mists. Could she bring the 3 gems back to the
winery in Barovia? She agrees.
Fecus then checks in with Cyrus regarding the food for the
reception. He is relieved when Cyrus tells him that Ismark
took care of the catering.
Tira, who is officiating the wedding in the chapel, gets to the
part where she asks if anyone objects to Ireena (Vasilka)
marrying tiny puppet Strahd. Unfortunately for everybody,
there are some objectors.
Patrina Velikovna shows up to stop the wedding and,
uncoordinated to her and her brother Kasimir Velikov,
Morgantha’s coven shows up with the real Ireena as a hostage.
Patrina wins initiative, followed by Morgantha’s coven,
and Rams going last.
Patrina casts Time Stop, rips Ireena’s (Vasilka’s) chest open
pulling out her heart that encases the Pink Gem from the
Wizard of Wines, and throws the heart at Morgantha, picks
up tiny puppet Strahd, and then she Misty Steps to the balcony
of the chapel.
Offalia freaks out and Plane Shifts away.
Fecus enables his Fire Flying power that was a gift from the
Sovereign to fly towards Morgantha’s coven.
Tim Magic Missiles Patrina, then begins to follow her.
Semyon and Fritigern move to protect Freek, Myrtle, and
Arabelle.
Shelby asks Rabe Voron to manifest and help Team Rams.
The Abbot shifts into Daeva form and flies after Patrina to
attack her.
Patrina Teleports away from the interior of the castle with
tiny puppet Strahd. Her brother Kasimir covers her retreat.
They are pursued by Rahadin.
Tim abandons the pursuit of Patrina and shifts his attention
to the hag coven. He trades Magic Missiles with them much
to his chagrin because Morgantha lights him up.
Bella dumps the real Ireena on a foe, then Plane Shifts away.
Rams finish Morgantha off. Fecus retrieves the Pink Gem
from her.
Lady Wachter and her entourage make a show of leaving
the ruined wedding.
Tira heals Tim.
Clovin weeps over Vasilka’s body.
Morgantha killed = 2900 XP
Pink Gem
Tim and Fecus each receive 966 XP
Gugula and Shelby each receive 483 XP
