Session 136-  “We’ll Call Him Red Sigrun”

7/7/2024

• An encounter has finally been rolled for Geoph, Ewald, and Jeler.  

  It will occur at the beginning of Session #137!

• Room #62 Alteration Chamber- Rams finish experimenting with the 

  remaining 5 buttons. Results:

• Sasha #4 = Healed 1d10.

• Fecus #5 = No effect.

• Gugula #7 = Put to Sleep 2 rounds.

• Gigurg #9 = Infravision.  Nearly all the rest of the party use the 

  bed to receive this alteration.

• Gunda #10 = Clothes turned to goo.

• When Rams have had their fun with the Alteration Bed, they choose to 

  rest in Room #62.  No encounters occur.

• Room #57 Ruined Library.  Scrolls discovered.

• Room #61 Cloning Chamber.  Fecus asks Sigrun to be the test subject, 

  and after some discussion, Sigrun agrees.

• Tim operates the cloning chamber controls and delivers 2 successes 

  and 1 failure.

• The resulting clone is a Red Eld version of the newly bald and male 

  Sigrun.  Fecus calls him Red Sigrun of the “Tube Magic”.

• Room #40 contains another Turms-headed goddess statue.

Session 134-  Reunited with the Astral Reavers

• Rest in Room #60.

• Watch 1 Shelby and Gugula gossip about Melissia and her 

  outfit.

• Watch 2 Sasha and Gigurg play a stick game that Gigurg 

  made up.

• Watch 3 Fecus and Ferika talk about whether Rams should 

  trust Melissia; so engrossed in their discussion they are 

  surprised by 5 Shadows that came up the stairs.

• After killing the Shadows, Rams go to Room #41 and encounter 

  a group of Wererat guards that know of them and are thankful 

  for rescuing the 3 Wererats that had gone to Lvl 5.

• Rams go to Teleport Room #27 and travel together as a 

  human chain to Room #22 and then to Room #29.  Listening and 

  using the new X-Ray capabilities to peer through the double doors 

  to the east.  They see a group of over a dozen milling around in the 

  hallway that Fecus and Sasha explored the most when Rams were 

  split up.

• Rams enter the hallway braced for a fight, but they reunite with 

  the Astral Reavers.

• Fecus flips H’Raon a SP and H’Raon (Reaction 5) barely controls 

  his anger at the gesture and grills Rams on what they’ve discovered 

  since they had separated from the Astral Reavers.  Fecus shows 

  H’Raon the map of what has been explored and the 2 groups 

  decide to finish exploring the SE corner, then go hit the other 

  unexplored rooms of this level before leaving it.  H’Raon and 

  his team are unnerved by Melissia the Succubus.  H’Raon’s MUs 

  started studying their spell books and having a private side 

  conversation in their native tongue.

• The Rams followed by Astral Reavers go to Room #6.

• 6 Ranine and 2 Ranine Cultists are in Room #6 hiding behind 

  a tattered silver curtain which is opposite from a staircase UP.  

  Rams fight and kill them with some difficulty because the Cultists 

  cast Darkness and Phantasmal Force to great effect.  Melissia 

  gleefully joins Rams in combat against the Ranine, fighting with 

  her claws, then licking the blood off when the combat ceases.
