Session 92-  Reunion with Baldwin in Oberstdorf

9/17/2023

• Rams trip from Wurzburg to Oberstdorf is uneventful.

• Rams go to the Tiefenbach Sulphur Spa to reunite with Baldwin.

• They find Baldwin in the bar of the spa lonely and drinking.

• Baldwin and Rams have dinner and Rams spend the night at the 

  spa and receive spa treatments the next day.

• Tim, Fecus, and Geoph gather some rumors in the spa’s dining room, 

  bar, and kitchen.

• The rumor Tim gets is one he’s heard before.  It’s about the missing 

  dwarves.

• Fecus hears a rumor that Dwimmermount might contain portals to 

  other worlds.

• Geoph wanders into the kitchen and gets a big download of historical 

  info regarding Dwimmermount’s history and the Termaxian Cultists 

  and Turms Termax.

• During the spa day Tim wins lawn bowling.

• Baldwin warns Fecus the older woman he’s been talking to is a 

  gold digger.

• Rams and Baldwin go into Oberstdorf and their first stop is the 

  sage Jasper’s shop.

• Jasper has info about shadowy figures going to Dwimmermount, 

  the doors he knows about (Red Door and Alchemist’s Door) and Rams 

  learn about a substance they haven’t heard about called Azoth.

Session 91-  Ewald the Spider Champion

• Fecus pays 1000 SP for Gunda to rent a lab and investigate the 

  mirror found in Goblin Hill.

• Gunda makes an ESP scroll.

• Tim copies Charm Monster and Change Self into spellbook.

• Geoph prepares 2 Army of One scrolls.

• Shelby makes 1 Command scroll and 1 Cure Light Wounds scroll. 

• Tim Polymorphs Ewald into a Spider Champion.

• Rams leave Wurzburg for the Oberstdorf/Dwimmermount area.

Session 90-  Into the Insect Shrine

• Amelia cooks bug steaks.

• Fecus puts a down payment of 500 GP for 2 Automatons.

• Tim pays 1500 GP for 3 Exo-suits.

• Rams leave Copher at Goblin Hill to aid the Engineer and return to 

  Wurzburg.

• Rams pay Yakov Brassfist to craft the Spider Legs into blades.

• Tim visits Piri. 8 Healing Potions are bought for 1000GP.

• Gunda learns Magic Missile and Wall of Fog.

• Geoph makes Army of One and Faerie Fire Scrolls.

• Shelby learns Gaseous Form and makes a Giant Strength Scroll.

• Tim learns Hold Person and Speak with Plants.

• Tim asks Bertha to order St Christopher Abbey Beer and 

  Mai-Tai ingredients.

• Picked up 8 1d30 Spider Blades from Yakov Brassfist.

• At entrance of Cavern on Goblin Hill, Tim casts Speak with Insects 

  and talks to 4 Giant Bees.

• Rams fight a Stoneskin Cockroach in the Hall of Statues.

• Rams fight 15 Giant Wasps in Worship Hall.  Gem stones are taken 

  from columns.

• Rams open the Puzzle Door and in to Room #15 Giant Zombie Mantis.

• Room #16 Giant Ant Lion.

• Fecus finds a Golden Scarab necklace.

• Room #11 3 Giant Ants

• Room #12 6 Giant Ants, 3 Giant Ants, 1 Soldier Ant, 2 Giant Ants

• Room #13 14 Soldier Ants and Queen Ant

Session 89-  Returning to Goblin Hill

9/7/2023

• Rams recover in Wurzburg after Marina Rodemus’s Lair.

• Tim buys a copy of Polymorph Others for his spellbook. He makes a 

  Faerie Fire Scroll.

• Shelby makes a Giant Strength Scroll and a Heat Metal Scroll.

• Gunda copies Ray of Enfeeblement to her spellbook and makes an 

  ESP Scroll.

• Geoph copies Army of One to his spellbook and makes a 

  Faerie Fire Scroll.

• Hewie, Dewie, Lewie, and Screwie roll on the dog table… 

  all grown up!

• More Carousing!

• Rams travel to Goblin Hill, leaving Bertha, Uwe, and the Puppies in 

  the Moody Mermaid in Wurzburg.

• Entering through the Caverns, 4 Maggots and 1 Horsefly are fought 

  and killed in the Cesspool.

• Rams go and talk to Amelia and the Engineer.

• The Engineer has finished repairing the Exo-suit.

• Sigrun wears the Exo-suit

• Fecus puts a 500 GP down payment on an exo-suit.

• Amelia tells Rams the Engineer listens to the floor in the 

  Mother’s Bedroom.

• Rams kill the 5 Horse/Fly hybrids in Room #18.

• In the Caverns Room #8, Gugula enters the Sphere and battles the 

  Sphere Master.  When she defeats the Master, she becomes the 

  Master by sucking the sphere into her being.

• Check out the Acid Wall Room #6 and Ooze Room #7.

• Rams enter Room #9 and fight and kill 47 Giant Spiders.

• Rams enter Room #10 and fight and kill 13 Spider Champions.  

  Rams harvest their leg knives.

• Last Spider in the Treasure Room #11.

Session 88-  Conquering Marina Rodemus’s Lair

• Rams kill all in the cistern room except Jack the Spike, who they 

  capture.

• Rams enter Marina’s Inner Sanctum from cistern tunnel to Angoq’s 

  pit.

• Shelby and Gunda subdue the monster with a combination of 

  Animal Control and Speak w/ Animal.

• An Anti-orgone Grenade is thrown up to the surface from the 

  Angoq’s pit.

• Tim casts Phantasmal Psychedelia of Angoq at 

  Marina Rodemus.

• She is eventually killed by Magic Missile.

• The last wererat in the room is killed by Ferika.

• Marina Rodemus killed = 250 XP

• 24 Wererats killed = 6000 XP

• 10,000 CP = 100 XP

• 1034 SP = 103 XP

• 1000 EP = 500 XP

Session 87-  Entering Marina Rodemus’s Lair

8/27/2023

• 6 city guards have agreed to stand watch at the top of the stairs of 

  Marina Rodemus’s Lair as Rams go down to fight Marina Rodemus 

  and the Longwhiskers.

• Rams enter cistern room of the Lair and see 18 Longwhiskers 

  participating in a torture/interrogation of an elf.  They are dunking 

  the silversmith Tristan Garvukan into the nasty water of the cistern 

  in order to find out where his silver is cached.

• Longwhiskers win initiative, but after 3 rounds, Rams have killed 11 

  of the Longwhiskers.

Session 86-  A Wererat Interrogation

8/20/2023

• Rams are allowed to interrogate the Wererat prisoner, Copher.

• Gunda Bittermoon casts ESP on Copher as Tim and Fecus are 

  asking him who he works for and a clear picture of 

  Marina Rodemus and her sewer lair appear in his mind and 

  Gunda shares the info with the team.

• Tim casts Charm Person on Copher and gets Marina’s name 

  and the address of her wine shop and the nearby sewer lair.  

  Tim asks Copher if he would like to be cured of lycanthropy and 

  to join Rams.  Copher thinks this is a great idea because he’s 

  disgusted with being a Wererat.

• Rams take Copher to Abbess Waltraud and she casts 

  Cure Disease on him with the agreement he’ll come back to 

  the cathedral and do a day of volunteer work.

• Rams visit the armorer Yakov Brassfist and buy out his 

  silver weapon supply and a set of plate armor for Copher.

Session 85-  Old Braasch Farm Cleansed With Fire

8/13/2023

• Yuri finds 2 Secret Doors to the North and West of the cellar room 

  where they found Baby Jochen.

• Rams pick the Western door to Room # 10.  Old Man Braasch attacks!

• Sasha quickly kills Old Man Braasch.

• There is a shrine to the Insect God in Room #10 and an unusual 

  amount of insects.

• Tim and Shelby pray to Tiamat.  A green dragon sigil illuminates a 

  secret door to Room #9.

• In Room #9, they find 400 SP and the copper tubes that were 

  making noise in the forest and barn.

• Rams complete the investigation of the Old Braasch Farm and 

  then they burn it down.

• Even though no witches were killed, the group leaves Neuendorf 

  and split up for James and Telthys to return to the Swedish army 

  and Rams to go back to Wurzburg via Karlstadt.

• In Karlstadt, Rams return Baby Jochen to his grateful mother.

• Rams question the “witches” Bertha (old woman) and Tina 

  (young woman) and determine they probably were not witches.  

  Tim casts Detect Magic on them, seeing no indication of 

  magical abilities or items.

• Bertha agrees to work for Rams when they offer both women a job, 

  but Tina is creeped out by the group and they let her leave.

• Tim gives her 1 GP and business cards.

• Once back to Wurzburg Baldwin takes his leave of Rams.

• Rams go to the Moody Mermaid and Bertha takes over bartending 

  and cooking duties and little Uwe becomes the dishwasher.

• Rams call Captain Erwin, Commander Sprenge, and Abbess Waltraud 

  to a meeting at the Moody Mermaid.

• Captain Erwin has a Wererat in his jail.

• Commander Sprenge is happy Rams were able to come to terms 

  with the Swedish Diplomatic Envy.

• Abbess Waltraud asks if the city gates can be reopened.

• Rams receive a message from R.E.S. that they are returning to 

  Glister and leaving Wurzburg the next morning.

• Rams send a message to Prince Bishop Hatzfeld regarding the 

  completion of their assignment and the conditions in Wurzburg.

• Session #84 XP = 40 XP

• Old Man Braasch killed = 25 XP

• 400 SP = 40 XP

• Total XP = 105 XP

• Tim and Fecus receive 35 XP each

• Ferika and Ornie receive 17 XP each

  The Old Braasch Farm is the Abandoned Farmhouse from the 

  LotFP Better Than Any Man adventure. I wanted to note here 

  that one of my players commented that this farm felt like a 

  Scooby Doo episode:) From Session #64 on has been based on 

  Better Than Any Man which is a Pay What You Want PDF on DTRPG.
