Session 114-  The Golden Barge Reaches Oberstdorf

2/4/2024

• The Golden Barge lands to the east of Oberstdorf and goes into 

  Invisible mode.

• Tim and Fecus arrive at the Tiefenbach Spa during the dinner hour 

  and are first noticed by Ferika.  The remaining Rams excitedly sing 

  “Pump Up the Rams” when their bosses join the dinner party.  

  The re-united team shares stories of what has happened since 

  Tim and Fecus left several weeks ago.

• Shelby pulls Fecus aside and reports that she thinks the Rams 

  have been followed when moving about in Oberstdorf.

• The next day Tim, Fecus, Geoph, Shelby, and Gunda go into town 

  early and post up in the area (while Invisible) where Shelby noticed 

  the woman following Team Rams.

• The woman (Guibor, SPC4) following Rams appears accompanied 

  by 3 men (Betan MU3, Sernays F4, Pariset F4).  They follow this 

  rival party (Heralds of the Silver Dawn) to the street where 

  Jasper the Sage’s shop is located.

• Betan goes into Jasper’s shop and Tim (still Invisible) follows him 

  inside and eavesdrops on Betan speaking to Jasper about his party’s 

  intention to go back into Dwimmermount as soon as they get a better 

  map and another task (assassination of Shelby) is completed.  

  Betan purchases a Potion of ESP.

• Gunda casts ESP on Guibor and learns the following info:

• Guibor thinks the MUs of her own party are annoying fools.

• She wants to kill Shelby.

• She thinks Pariset would be better off joining the Termaxian Cult.

• Betan (and Invisible Tim) leave Jasper’s shop.  The Heralds 

  make their way over to The Cookie Jar Tavern, followed by the 

  Invisible Rams.  Tim remains Invisible and follows the Heralds into 

  the tavern.  Fecus, Geoph, Shelby, and Gunda return to visibility and 

  Fecus goes into the tavern just as Guibor is leaving.

• Tim eavesdrops on Betan, Pariset, and Sernays as they talk about the 

  following:

• Guibor must kill Shelby before they can re-enter Dwimmermount.

• Alina and Nantier (the other members of the Heralds) are trying 

  to acquire a map for levels of Dwimmermount below the 1st.

• Tim gets the impression that the Heralds went into Dwimmermount 

  after Rams had been within the dungeon.

• Fecus leaves the tavern to follow Guibor and calls out a citizen’s arrest on 

  her.
