Session 62-   Welcome to Dresden! 

2/26/2023

• Rams and R.E.S. have dinner with Walther Hilger in a 

  private dining room of his sister’s inn The Impaled Mole.

• He asks Rams if they would be willing to kill the 

  “Group of Seven” in Karlstadt.  The bounty is 1000GP 

  per head or 10000GP for the group.  The group is 

  7 female magic-users that have taken over Karlstadt, 

  disarming the citizens and banning all public displays of 

  religious worship.  The Prince Bishop of Wurzburg believes the 

  killing of the “Group of Seven” will work as a placating measure to 

  slow or stop the Swedish Army.

• Rams agree to the job.

• The next day in Dresden Rams go to several locations.

• At the Royal Cabinet of Mathematical and Physical Instruments, 

  Tim and Fecus first encounter the janitor Dorn who is gruff and 

  suspicious, but he allows Tim and Fecus to meet Edith Ertl, head of 

  The Cosmos of the Prince department.  She is one of 2 employees that 

  have remained at the Royal Cabinet.  The others have fled, fearing the 

  Swedish Army.

• Tim is able to copy Dimension Door and Improved Invisibility from 

  Edith’s spellbook.

• Tim asks her about his astrolabe and star map and Edith tells him that 

  one of her colleagues (Warren Curley) is an expert in that field of study.

• Edith says she has work for Rams if they come back through Dresden.

• Tim lets Edith copy Wizard Lock and Knock from his spellbook.

• Tim and Fecus go to the adventurer bar The Gazelle Shaft.

• Tim hires Gugula (F3).

• Fecus hires Ewald Zweig (SPC5), Sigrun Snish (F2), 

  and Gunda Bittermoon (E4).
