Session 155- A Return to Barovia Part 6
12/15/2024
After the fight with Vampire Spawn, Tim and Gugula High Five.
Fecus searches the Coffin Maker’s Shop. He finds the Bones of
St Andral in Henrik’s bedroom, along with 30 SP and 12 EP.
Town Guard Captain Groza arrives and interviews Rams regarding
the attack of the Vampire Spawn. He thanks them for their
assistance in clearing the Vampire Nest, but mourns the loss of nearly
half of his guard force to the monsters.
Rams try to give Captain Groza the Bones of St Andral and the coins
(they were concerned regarding the coins being minted with Strahd’s
likeness upon them, not realizing it is the coin of the realm), but the
Captain asks Rams to deliver them to the church as soon as they
leave the Coffin Maker’s.
As Rams walk to the church, they muse on whether they can request
assistance from Ireena’s brother, the mayor of the village of Barovia,
to bolster the ranks of Vallaki’s Town Guards.
At the Church of St Andral, Rams deliver the Bones of the Saint to
Father Lucien. He thanks them by giving them 4 Scrolls of Bless.
Just as the sky lightens before sunrise, Rams stumble back to the
Blue Water Inn and have breakfast.
Healing and sleeping.
Later in the afternoon they make their way to the Burgomaster’s
Mansion to see what they can learn about the leader of the town
and his henchman Izek Strazni.
They arrive as some peasants are delivering bundles of sticks.
The maid escorts Rams to the Burgomaster’s den to await a meeting
with him. Fecus notes the copious bundles of sticks in the large hall
of the mansion.
